We leave our cocktails (both 13years old) at Birdsville anytime we go away & have been for over 5 years now. We highly recommend them for your feathered friends (ours are hand raised & use to human companions) We can enjoy our holiday knowing they are safe & well looked after. All the staff are knowledgeable & clearly animal lovers.

Wide range and rabbits, Guinea pigs, birds and everything you need to look after your pet(dogs, cats, aquatic animals etc)! When my guinea pig got sick, they even had that emergency food to keep them going until we could get medical treatment for her. Very helpful staff and always pleasant to visit!

The team at Birdsville are exceptional when it comes to knowledge about their birds. The passion is real in this small business and it’s such a warming thing to see in such hard times. Ash and his staff go above and way beyond to help customers and they have THE BIGGEST supply of bird cages/toys/food/treats/handmade stands etc etc that you’ll never find anywhere else in Sydney. People forget though that they are more than just a bird shop. Check out their small animals too. Highly recommended!

I adopted my green check conure from Birdsville and every time I go back to visit I’m blown away by the care they put into looking after the birds and the knowledge they have. The staff are friendly and they have a massive range of bird toys, their house-made feeds are very popular for my birds and in particular I love the time they dedicate towards rehoming birds with appropriate families. Thanks to the staff who are always amazing! :)

This pet shop is a hidden gem we were so happy with our new family addition “Buddy” his a sweet gentle Galah with such a Beautiful bright pink colour Customer Service these guys are full of knowledge and are more than happy to answer all your questions and deliver good old fashion customer service We will be back soon to buy Buddy some more toys and to keep staff updated of his transition into his new environment & loving home he enjoys watching our 3 little foster children play with their toys in the lounge room and this evening we let the 2 older children give Buddy a treat, they found it very funny also when Buddy started talking, I think we all did nothing but laugh lol lol If your thinking of buying a bird this is the place 10/10 thank you all so much we are so blessed and so happy with Buddy

Staff are always welcoming and happy to stop and answer questions or share their knowledge. We love their range of bird enrichment toys. Upstairs they also have a fantastic range for small pets like rabbits, guinea pigs & reptiles.

I had a wonderful experience dealing with Birdsville. The variety of birds they have are absolutely stunning and clearly incredibly well cared for. What truly makes this place special, though, is the amazing staff. They are so passionate, welcoming, and genuinely helpful with any questions you might have. Birdsville delivers top class customer service and I highly recommend them to any bird lover!

The staff there was really helpfull. There was a large variety of diffents items for sale for each pet. And alot of well spaced cages for the animals to run around in.

Today I visited to adopt a white bellied caique I’d had my eye on for about a month. David was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made my experience fantastic. His care and patience left me feeling confident and excited with my decision. Petsville/Birdsville now has a customer for life! They have a fantastic range of birds available for adoption, both young birds and rehomes. As well as a large selection of toys, food, cage etc.

We had a fantastic experience at Birdsville Pet Shop. We purchased a rehomed Quaker parrot, Bean, in May to provide some company for our peachface lovebird, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely cared about making sure we found the right bird. They happily opened Bean’s cage and encouraged us to spend as much time as we needed holding and interacting with him before making our decision. We never felt rushed. As first-time Quaker owners, we really appreciated the advice they gave us about Quaker personalities, diet, and general care. Their knowledge and willingness to share practical tips gave us the confidence to bring Bean home. Bean has become a much-loved member of our family. He has settled in beautifully and is already starting to bond with his new feathered friend, which has been wonderful to watch. Thank you to the team at Birdsville Pet Shop for helping us find such a special companion. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable, caring staff and healthy, well-loved birds.
